2019 Copa America: What Messi said after Argentina’s 2-0 loss to Colombia

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, has reacted to Argentina’s 2-0 loss to Colombia on Saturday night.
Messi said he was ‘feeling bitter’ after they lost their Copa America Group B opener.
Roger Martinez and Duvan Zapata both scored to give Colombia their first win over Argentina in 12 years.
Speaking after the game, Messi told post match press conference, “We leave here feeling bitter. In the second half we had our chances.
“We didn’t want to start this way, obviously, but now we have to lift our heads and keep going.
“In the first half we retreated a little and were holding on, but in the second we really opened up.
“Whenever you lose it’s hard for us, we usually take it badly. Now we have to think about Paraguay.”

Super Eagles to play Ghana in a friendly duel in London

Gernot Rohr, the coach of the Nigeria's senior men national team, has confirmed that the super eagles will face the black stars of Ghana in a friendly match which will be played in London in March 2017.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr

Although Nigeria have already secured a friendly duel with the Teranga Lions of Senegal on March 23, 2017, the 63-year-old German explained that his wards will also face black stars of Ghana.

The super eagles handler wants his players to be in good shape ahead of their double header against African champions Cameroon in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

“Senegal who are one of the strongest countries in Africa will play us in March and we will play Ghana who were fourth at the last Nations Cup in Gabon.
''We don’t play these games for results. That is not to necessarily win but to see our team and the new players who will be invited,'' Rohr explained.
The Super Eagles are currently leading Group B with six points after two games played so far in the 2018 World Cup qualifying series.

Arsene Wenger: Arsenal manager 'coming to the end', says Ian Wright

Wenger has won three Premier League titles at Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has told Ian Wright his time as Arsenal boss is "coming to the end", claims the Gunners legend.
Wenger has managed Arsenal since October 1996 and won the last of his three Premier League titles in 2004.
The 67-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season.
"I get the impression that that's it," ex-Arsenal striker Wright told BBC Radio 5 live. "He looks tired. You just feel that he looks winded. I feel that he will go at the end of the season."
Arsenal's hopes of winning the championship this season took a huge blow when Saturday's 3-1 loss at league leaders Chelsea left them 12 points behind the Blues.
Wright says he spoke with Wenger on Thursday night.
"He actually mentioned that he is coming to the end. I have never heard him say that before," said the 53-year-old.
"The players have let him down badly.
"If he does leave at the end of the season, there will be a lot of changes. They should have a long, hard look at themselves. He has been so faithful to his team, it has been misplaced."
Some fans have called for Wenger to leave, with one holding up a poster at Stamford Bridge telling the Frenchman: "Enough is enough. Time to go."
